Digit89 is a Belgian FinTech founded in 2021 and based in Brussels and Charleroi, with the goal to provide an innovative solution to a major challenge: working capital optimization.

Digit89 revolutionizes the relationship between the client company and its suppliers (B2B). By joining Digit89, companies offer to their suppliers an access to our digital platform, where the suppliers will be able to get their invoices paid whenever they want by Digit89.

Thanks to Digit89, payments terms are no longer an issue for companies.

As an Account Manager you will join a young team sharing the will to have a positive impact on the Belgian economic market. You will be in charge of the full onboarding cycle of the suppliers.

Indeed, once companies join Digit89, we will need to convince their suppliers to activate their account and generate activity on our platform.

In a nutshell, you’ll be responsible to contact the suppliers and establish a relationship by guiding them through our solution. The challenge will be to analyze their financial needs and understand their business in order to provide them the necessary information and demonstration of how our platform can support them. You’ll be in contact with different companies from various sectors and different sizes; this will bring you continuous challenge & learning.

You will work closely with our Head of Account Management & Business Development and our COO in order to develop growth strategies.

At Digit89, you’ll have the possibility to create your client’s portfolio, develop an in-depth expertise and grow with your customers.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the onboarding strategy in coordination with the Commercial Team;
  • Analyze and understand suppliers’ needs and business models;
  • Establish and build a relationship with suppliers;
  • Provide support to the suppliers and guide them through the platform (demo);
  • Take actions to grow platform activity;
  • Manage financial flows with our Financial Controller;
  • Collect data and build report to assess onboarding strategy and platform activity;
  • Gather feedbacks and participate in our platform’s improvement;
  • Identify suppliers that could also become client on the platform;
  • Build a supplier’s portfolio to later onboard clients on the platform;

The Account Manager will receive a supplier’s portfolio and will have to grow the usage and number of suppliers using the platform and reporting it to the Head of Account Management. The secondary mission is to identify the potential clients and hand them over to the Head of Account Management before being able to create his/her own pipe of clients and grow with it.

Skills and competencies

  • Interested in the FinTech world & looking to work in a start-up environment
  • French, Dutch and English language proficiency required
  • Great communication skills; written & oral
  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Capacity to truly listen and understand
  • Experience handling customers
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify levers to drive revenue growth
  • Able to effectively present our solution to suppliers virtually and/or in person
  • Driven by challenge and evolution
  • Basic knowledge of understanding of financial concepts
  • Experience in FinTech, Saas, Financial solution, B2B is a plus
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively
